Jeremy founded Beacon Research in 1997 after a successful 10-year career as a financial planner. He was a top producer during that time, and won several major insurance sales awards including Court of the Table and Million Dollar Round Table. During that time, he also served as COO of Alexander Associates, a financial planning firm. Mr. Alexander is often quoted in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, National Underwriting, Investment News and InsuranceNewsNet. He is a featured speaker on the subject of retirement planning and annuities

Joshua is responsible for Beacon's technology strategy and technology related sales. He founded Beacon in 1997 and designed and developed our first database. A year later he completed development of Beacon's on demand publications. Soon after, he migrated our print publications to the internet. Mr. Alexander is responsible for the development of the industry's leading annuity research and sales platform. He received a BA from Roger Williams University.
David E. Hunsinger

David E. Hunsinger

Director, Operations


David joined Beacon in 2008 to lead development of its variable annuity database. He now manages all data collection operations for Beacon. He was previously Director of Data Collection for VARDS (Variable Annuity Research Data Service), where he helped transform its quarterly sales report from CD-ROM format to a web-based application with real-time data access. He also held a sales and marketing position at LOMA, a life insurance industry trade organization. David earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his MBA from the Coles School of Business at Kennesaw State University.
Stephanie Brandt

Director of Research


Since joining Beacon in 1997, Stephanie has spearheaded the company's fixed and indexed annuity data collection activities, serving as the key contact in developing relationships with insurance companies as well as collecting and maintaining data. Previously, Stephanie managed brokerage operations for Alexander Associates, a financial planning firm. She earned a BS from Northwestern University.

Gary joined the Beacon family to lead the Strategic Initiatives and Marketing efforts of firm. His extensive annuity and life industry experience has allowed him to develop a unique perspective that has aided in the development of new products, sales and compliance tools, as well the development of award-winning marketing material. Prior to joining Beacon, Gary held various leadership roles at Protective Life, Prudential, and AXA
